Leipzig Photographs Continued.

The top two photographs are the only two which are identified amongst the Leipzig photos. As seen in the copy of the reverse of one of the photos, the subject in the top two photos is Elizabeth D.C Cecil. A quick bit of research on Elizabeth reveals that she was born Elizabeth Dodge Cooper Tearl-Cecil in 1851 at Broadwater by Worthing, Sussex, the daughter of Henry Moses Tearl Cecil and Amelia Cooper. After her graduation from Leipzig she returned to England and worked as a Professor of Music giving music lessons, much the same as her friend Amy Jane Oakley did after emigrating to Melbourne.
